I dont know what pipes u r talking about but my LTE pipes are very loud---loudest pipes i have ever herd

i removed the insillation but it did not make it louder--- just a little more response

 

You removed the packing inside the pipes? Not only will it make it louder, even though you say it didn't, it will make your quad slower. Both problems may or may not be real noticable. These are looney tuned exhaust sytems your talking of yes?

 

yeah LTE, when i pulled the end caps of to line them up the insulation fell out i put them back on with that out and it was not louder and i did not feel like i lost any power. do you think that should be in there---- will it f":>? up my quad

 

There should be packing in the mufflers around the outside of the metal screens with the holes in it. This keeps the inside diameter of the pipe the same all the way through and also helps quiet things down. If the exhaust leaving the quad has to go into and out of all these holes in the muffler it will cause turbulance and will not be removing the amount of exhaust as it should be. The performance will suffer some.

i read that the pred was faster than the raptor, i also read and heard the raptor was faster than the yfz.
so that makes the pred the fastest. have i actually gone out and tested for my self no. but i trust what i read was true.

 

ya the yfz is slower than the raptor.. it only goes around 72... and the raptor goes a lil faster than that.. and the pred is prolly the same as a raptor.

 

I'm talking 300' drags. That's what counts. That's what seperates the men from the boys. Not the top speed.
