Anyone take on the Honda 450R yet?

Default Anyone take on the Honda 450R yet?

I've always broke in the way the manual says to as well. I'm not sure what to think of it, it makes sense.

Gonna have to give that break in theory a try!540 and smaller ports coming!

Someone finally read it!!! Geesh! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] It makes perfect sense to me, too. In fact this is how I've always done it and never had a problem, either. He points out that break in is different now than it was many years ago. Something to ponder. He may be onto something....

what do you think the GYT-r pipe, jet kit, 13:1 piston and the YZ cam iare, its no different than the HRC kit

Default Anyone take on the Honda 450R yet?

I break it in how I'm going to ride it. W/O going extended periods of time w/ high rpms....which is pretty much the same as this link states, unless the way you normally ride is putt-putt.
