Doubling Issues
#1
I know, it was stupid, but i did it. All last summer i doubled my girlfriend on my blaster and now my rear shock is ruined. Is there any hope in saving it without having to go and buy a new one?

You doubled your girlfriend on your blaster???
You need a new rear shock if yours is bad. Look on ebay for used ones or go to a snomobile/atv/bike junkyard.

it shouldnt be ruined then. riding double will wear down the shock faster, but it shouldnt be junk from one summer unless it was in bad shape to begin with. blaster shocks arent known for thier supple ride anyway.

I would get it rebuilt if you can, you can get higher quality guts in it and it will perform much better than a stocker for a fraction of the cost. My rear shock feels like its riding double every time I throw my fat a$$ over the footpeg.

You ride a blaster? I would get a new shock then for sure, ruiined or not! But seriously.... First you want to find out if it's "ruined" or not. If it is, you can always have it revalved and a new spring put on before you spend $500 bucks or more on a new one. Talk to your local shop or yammy dealer, if they do work and they're not just a dealer.
