Default Uses for a locked diff

Just got an '04 grizz and was wondering what conditions you would lock the diff.

Tnx,

Mike

Congrats, that's a fine machine. I had an 01 Grizz that I installed a locker in the front differential. It was unstoppable but it was also un-turnable:-) When I gave that quad to my dad, he yanked the locker. If you get into deep mud or ice/mud, the front locker will allow you to crawl on through. Without the locker, the wheel with the least resistance spins and your front wheels won't provide nearly as much pulling power. The locker is for max traction in slippy conditions.
