Raptor 350[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] i cant believe they would use that little 350 air cooled engine.. I would like to see a 400cc liquid cooled raptor..

If is going to be 350 it better be a shee engine[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Now i could believe the part about the raptor 350 "or whatever' that is reasonable i think
but think about it a 125 Breeze 4x4 {Grizzly} now any one who has owned a breeze and has
common cents should know that the added weight of the 4x4 componets , metal racks , most likely shaft driven ,basicly the Full size 4x4 all around , would stongly overwork the undersized 125cc powerplant

Did that catch your attenton yet,, i own a breeze and a grizzly and that "it" is a disgrace to the Grizzly name.

just looked at the picture again and how in the world would it be a 4x4 if the rear tires are way bigger than the front
correct me if i am wrong but in 4 wheel drive the smaller front tires would work aganst the bigger rear tires due different gear ratios that is why all 4x4s have the same tire sizes

Dude, i totally agree, i was disgusted when i saw "Grizzly" on the side of that thing, try again yamaha, but keep the 350 Raptor [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img].

 

Why would the April Edition be out in Jan.?

I think it's legit. Well, I'm about 80% sure it's legit. And about 20% questionable.

 

Don't be deceived by a Warrior's engine that has been modified. FST builds some killer Warrior engines. If that new Raptor 350 is real, [which I feel is being that our sales rep has been promising a new Warrior for two years...LOL] and the weight is accurate, this will be a great addition to Yamaha's lineup.

The biggest thing that I'm concerned about is whether or not it will have that same funky shift lever for reverse and if they finally geared up the reverse gear ratio. Believe it or not, but those are the biggest culprits in my experience and is why we sell more 300EXs than Warriors to first time buyers.

I smell something fishy. Yamaha dealers weren't invited??? Think they would hold these that big of a secret? And it is the April Fools issue....

I remember when the Warrior came out and thought it was the coolest looking bike ever but as years went by just started to look cheezy so this is really a much needed makeover.
