I was wondering truthfully if U guys think my 250r would run with a stock banshee in a drag??my motor mods are wiseco .020 piston, boyesen reeds, porting work, fmf goldseries fatty pipe, power core 2 silencer, the gearing is 14/39 and it has 20 inch rear tires. My freind with a 2000 stock banshee was supposed to race me but he never comes around anymore.

In a drag, its possible I have even seen it happen. However I would put my money on the Banshee. Given equal riders and your mods. The Banshee may still have the edge in a drag. you guys should try it and let me know I think it would be interesting.

Yes, I just got a 250R Thursday, I went racing at comp yesterday, and it was fast. I have a pro circit pipe, roost boost...and thats all that I know of. SO I think you'll do fine.

I just raced a Banshee this past week-end. I only lost by a couple of lengths. (I think maybe he wasn't the best rider though because I've been beat by at least 3-4 lengths before) It just depends, the longer the race the worse I lose. Anyway, they always catch me on the top end & I'm sure your 250R is better on top than my Scrambler so I bet you'll do just fine. Even if you lose I doubt it will be by much.

i have a 250r all stock except for a fmf pipe and silencer mine will get it off the line and hold it's ground to a (stock) banshee i'm in 6th pinded and the banshee is at 6th half and still barley pulling away when they are both pinded the banshee will just keep pulling away from me ever so slowely so you 250r i think has a pretty good chance at betting one

Dont just worry about speed whos do you think will be the most reiable in the long run probaly the 12 year machine over a brand knew one so keep that in mind two when he is being pulled out of the dunes and the 250r is still alive thats what counts
