I just read sumthin that said KTM will be makin a 520cc sport bike..4 stroke..hmm anyone else hear of this? If so maybe the 450r and yfz450 will be gone..not bashing on the 450s..KTM 520 would be sweet!!

 

ktm made one not long ago... it was just a prototype... i doubt it will go into production... any time soon at least... the bike is amazing... dunno how the quad would be... i personally wouldnt buy it... ktm parts are very very expensive...

No, they said it would cost 6,200-6,700..which is expensive, but there are quads as much as that..just think of a 520cc bike..I bet it looks hot with orange and black plastics, it has the KTM520 bike motor in it..I dunno man, mehbe KTM will start makin quads, i hope so..leave these 450s behind!!JK!

 

i didnt say it would cost alot... i said the parts would cost alot... and raptor450rmd was right they made one for some1 to race TT... it was pretty ugly tho... but looks dont matter the 520exc runs great... and more then likely it wouldnt go over 75 because of that manufactures agreement but with a gearing change i have no doubt it would leave the 450's....

 

If KTM makes a quad its gonna be awesome just like there dirtbikes.

 

Who knows, they might start putting them into production, I found a video called KTMquad...Here ...You need to register, which is easy..the quad is green and is at the end, it shows it going 60mph easily..I hope 520 gets made

 

ive seen pics and vids before... i wouldnt get my hopes up for production tho... if i had the money thatd be a good project... as ive said probley 4 timess now the bikes got *****... the quad would be nice... but again as ive said 4 times the parts are expensive... thats why my friend sold his ktm... couldnt afford the keep it up...

 

If KTM started making quads,I'd be first in line! I already have the 520 KTM(2002) out of a two wheeler in my WTEC ERASER. THat motor is strong and dependable.Raced many stock Yamaha 450's and beat them all.Hoping I can beat the Honda too,and judging by the reports so far looks like I will. KTM could take alot of $'s away from the big threebut they got to get on it! KTM WAKEUP!!!

 

Very true, they should really start thinking, can you imagine if KTM came out with a Sport Quad how much money they would make?? Sales would go insane. They should really consider this, man its like this sport gets bigger by the day [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
