I unfortunately am not familiar w/ these batteries....but I do know they are succeptable to overcharging and I don't wanna do that......I just found out I have a dead battery and I don't have the time tonight to babysit it while it charges.....thanks for your imput. I have the sparks pipe, it gets in the way of the kickstarter...I prefer the electric start.

My battery crapped out to!! But it was 3 mo. after I bought the machine, so I got a new one under warranty. My dealer says that bout 5 out of every 100 have a junk battery. If you can't get it warrantied, I think yuasa has one out now with a few more cca!

im not sure but was told that it is a 13.2amp? and cannot charge with reg charger or it will devlope a memory and shorten the life of the battery. call 2 dealorships and ask for the service and get their openion perhaps where u bought it from will charge it or replace it for you hey you gave them 6,000 or 7,000 its the least they could do.

my warranty expired a couple weeks ago...I had it on the charger for 4 hours today, no luck.....guess I'll have to buy a new battery....no prob though guess it's kinda my fault cuz I havn't started the beast for like 2 months due to inclimate weather.
