Reverse Front Rims on Raptor???
#2
Reversing the stock rims widens the Raptor about 5 inches. On ours, made a ton of difference. You need to get flush mount valve stems to do it. If you ride rutty or bumpy trails, you will experience a little bump steer, but for us duners its no problem.

Make steering more difficult and you will feel alot of shimmy at top speeds. Steering stabilizer may help but xtra $$$. I personally like it for the stability. to a bigger person, it will feel better. I also went with +4 durablue axle for the back REALLY WIDE !!!. I like the set up.

I did this to one of my old hondas i had. Instead of getting the flush mount valve stems i put standard ones in backward in the stock holes, and drilled new holes on the other side of the wheel for new stems. This won't work if you run tubes though.

Guarddog, is your signature right? A +8 axle? How about a-arms? Suspension?
You can reverse the rims, but like everyone says, bump steer, rough ride, etc... Douglas and ITP make offset rims to widen the front end, and they are stronger and available in beadlocks. I don't trust stock rims, bent too many of them.

I have ITP C10 rims in back now and stock on front. Will C10s up front put the tires out alittle more or stay the same?
