04 banshee question

is it true about the 04 banshee being more detuned then previous years?
i looked on yamahas site and it said it had 6.5:1 compression and a 22mm mikuni carb.....has it always been like this?

nope, as a matter of fact it has never been like this. The stock banshee comes with Dual Mikuni 26mm carbs. It still has a 6.5:1 compression.
