I baught an 03 back in may. on the Title-sheet it says 19 hp! i dont know if that is rated hp, or if it is 19 "before" they restrict it. because mine is pretty quick, but it doesnt feel like it gets 19 on the ground??? who knows.

 

i've had mine on a dynp, and with the just the pipes i was just hittin 21hp

There is no damn way you can make a blaster beat out a banshee or even a 250R for that matter, there not even in the same class, not even close! My brother has one and I run circles around him on mine. and we got every HP that we can get out of that thing.

LOL! Then obviously you havent got every bit of HP out of your machine but its not your fault, your engine builder just isnt as good as you might have thought he was. A stock Banshee is 32hp and a fully modded Blaster can be taken as far as 40+ hp. Now take those numbers and add taller gearing and bigger rear tire size to the Blaster and do the math.

Also, there are videos on the BHQ board of a Blaster beating stock/mild modded Shees and modded 400exs. If you do want to really get all the hp that you can out of your Blaster talk to these guys, www.hollywooddirtproductions.com .

 

i have seen heavily modded blasters spank a lightly modded schee at a drag track so if anyone dosnt think its possible ur crazy cuz i have seen it done!

 

Thank You! You know most people dont believe it just for the simple fact that the Yamaha Blaster in stock form is nothing special what so ever. But what they dont realize is that that little not so special Blaster can be uncorked and turned into a whole different animal with the right know how and the right engine builder and of course a little money lol.
