Flipping the front Wheels on 2001 Warrior
#1
I Want to flip the front wheels around on my Warrior for better handling.
However the valve stems come into contact with the disk brakes. Can I
replace this valve stem with a shorter one, or do I need some sort of
spacer to widen the gap?

I've run the flipped rims for years, and be really carefull not to hit bigger rocks or logs along the trail edge as with the +2 width you've gained, the wimpy 1/4" diameter tie rod ends are much more easily bent with the new longer leverage of the offset rim.
I've never bent a spindle off a jump, but have gone through 2-3 different tie rods and ends runing the flipped rims and banging it a little hard. At ~$35-40 a tie-rod end too, that aint cheap!

Yeah, you will bent tie rods like crazy, put stress on the spindle (bearings) and pick up a bunch of bump steer. To each his own, but think this is major jerry rig, what you pick up in stablity you will lose in stiff handling with the handlebars getting ripped out of your hands everytime your tire hits a bump.
My advice to you is to try it for yourself, if your looking for better handling, this is not the way.

if you cant get shorter ones, then just take the ones that are in there now, flip them around and put them in up-side down. Then just drill new holes on the other side. This way you can switch back and forth if you like.
