My buudy may have blew his blaster and wants to upgrade to a 240 kit since he will have it apart . what is the best company for the big bores?

 

www.hollywooddirtproductions.com sells complete kits with cylinder & head, piston kit, gasket kit, and it comes fully ported and polished for under $575. You wont find better port work anywhere and the power is in the port work.

 

HOllywood is probably the best. Other then that there is Vito's and CT racing. BUt i don't believe that either one of those comes ported and ready to go.

VITO'S GREAT PPL PORTED, 240, GREAT KIT MAJOR HP

 

The Vitos 240 kit DOES NOT come ported. It does have a different port design then stock but it is not at all ported. Just look at the intake windows there not opened up anymore than stock. Vitos doesnt do porting either. Yes their cool people but as far as 240s go theirs doesnt compare to what Hollywood Dirt offers. With Hollywood Dirt you dont get a mass produced 240 kit but rather you get an engine that is custom built/tailored to the individual who is purchasing it. He designs the portwork and head work according to the type of riding that the buyer is going to be doing with it.

Different buyers have different needs and Hollywood Dirt builds his 240s according to those individual needs. No disrespect intended I just dont want people thinking that those Vitos 240s come race ported because they dont.

 

I would go with a 285 kit from trinityracing.com

 

the 285 trinity kit is a stroker big bore kit, hollywood dirt is the cheapest and by far the best on the market since they set it up for YOUR riding style.
