Where, other then Rocky Mountain ATV can you find 20" Raptor tires...or tires and wheels? Any help would be appreciated.

Those damn stock tires are high. I knew they were high, but not that high. They are priced around the same as a Holeshot or original Razr.

I love the stock front's, but I'm going to have to go with something else.

Check on ebay, they always have cheap tires for banshees, which will fit on a raptor. I just got a polished thumb throttle off there for $21.00!! good prices.

i HATE the stockers! theyre where the 'tippy' myth started. all the 'experts' blamed it on frame geometry, engine placement, suspension quality, you name it. all BS. I swtiched to holeshot XCT and the tippiness went away. I even softened up the suspension! Do you really want those tires again? I suggest you try something else - you wont believe the difference! seriously.
If youre bound and determined to buy the stockers, I may be talked into parting with mine. they are virtually brand new....last trip was on the dunes...theyve been in the shed for a year at least. on the rims and ready of course.

let me know, but I do suggest you try another brand of tire. you will be surprised.....

Default 20" Tires.....

Well, I'm tired of the bulky Mud Machines. I mean I love to climb, and nothing, and I mean nothing climbs like the Mud Machines. But they are killing my fun. They are 22's, and 22lbs a piece. They are a bulky tire(as my pic's show), so I'm ready for something else.....

And I looked at and liked the Razr's 2, which I have run before. Holeshots, or Kenda Klaws/Knarly. Anyone want to share your experience with any of these tires???

its either rocky here or sandy, so i run the holeshot XCTs on the raptor and holeshot XCRs on the blaster and have had great luck with both. No experience with razrs....
but let me restate that changing away from those stockers is the best thing you can do.

since you went taller on the back like i did, did you change the countershaft sprocket by one to compensate? we may be talking a $10 fix here. go down 1 tooth on yer countershaft, you can adjust it out without breakin the chain, and it makes a huge difference. the sprocket cost me like $9 bucks at the dealer.. it's an aftermarket part tho if you want to shop somewhere else.

No, I stayed with the stock gearing. I never dropped a tooth to match the larger rear tires. But I'm just tired of the 22's. I have a 12 tooth sprocket, and never really liked it much. Geared me too low for what I like. So I really want 20's. I looked at the 20" Holeshots. They look really good. They are definetly a tire I am thinking about.

I really like the stock fronts just cause they wear decent on the little bit of pavement I have to ride between locations. But I think a set of 4ply Holeshots, Klaws, Razrs, or 6 ply Razr 2's would be better in a 21X7X10 for the front.
