I run spybot and adaware (both free) about every 2-3 days. Have Norton anti-virus with internet security which has an ad blocking running and I do use the Google toolbar which also has ad blocking. You should do a full scan with the anti-virus and defrag the hard drive often and you will have very few problems

 

I run ad aware about 2 or 3 times a day and I still can't keep the dang pop ups away.......

sorry about that I should have read your first post better.

 

I use a pop-up blocker by safeguard, works like a charm. Also, to get rid of spyware and all other types of crap on your computer, download "search & destroy". You'll be amazed how much junk shows up that you can delete.

 

Ad-Aware Rocks!! I use that on my kids computer and it finds allot of junk.

 

PM me your email I have a god popup blocker. Also download the google search bar there is a built in popup blocker, I have none with that and this other one.

Tried the search and destroy one... Wow what a load of crap on the computer. How do I know I'm not deleting major files on the hard drive? What is a good, free spyware, popup killer?

if you want Norton antivirus, buy it on ebay. You can get it for about 10 or 15 bux. Just make sure you get the one with 12 months of free updates!

I just buy a new one every year. Alot cheaper then renewing my subscription to Norton!
