Girl Friend wants a atv what does she need
im having the same dilema, my wife wants one but i dont know what to get her, first off she has never rode before and i dont know if she is capable of shifting on quad. so i guess that leaves me looking for something automatic... any suggestions for something automatic and good for a girl that is 5"0"??

The new Raptor 350 will surprise some people with it's quickness. The way it sounds, the motor will rev faster, and have alittle more power then the basic Warrior setup, and it's 30lbs lighter. So I'm sure it's going to be fairly quick.
But if you don't want to wait, the Z400 seems to be a good ride to start with.
But the Raptor 350 definetly has to be considered. Hell, just on looks alone.

A real nice all around rock solid bike thats fits a very affordable budget is what I've found to be the Ozark 250. Maybe not be the fastest bike by far, but I bought my gf one and she loves it. Perfect for getting around in the trails, very easy to run, and with the high ground clearance, she goes over everything with easy. I think you can get them for around 3k right now, which is an awesome price for everything you get.

I agree go with the Z. Its a mellow enough quad stock, and it can be really made to run if/when she wants more power. I would never again buy anything from yamaha thats a first year model.....but then again the Yfz has been fine....... I wouldn't chance it though. The Z is proven.
