Default 686?

I want to do a 686 on my raptor but i dont know if its for me? I love riding and i want to put a little bit of money into my Raptor!!! So im wondering what the 686 is (explain it for me).. Also... If i buy it can i do it myself or install it myself? Does anyone know a price to buy it? Did anyone ever install it themselves? is it hard?

Sorry i asked so many ?'s but i really want to know!!!!

Thankyou -Matt-

How hard and if you can do it yourself depends on you. For me it's nothing to put together, for others it may be too much.
What it is: Boring it out to 102mm = 686cc
There are a couple of different comp. ratio pistons out now and more to come. Quite a few cams too.
With all the choices you could have one built to suit you.

I'm loosing faith in JE, I would go with a Ross but I don't know that they have an off the shelf piston for the raptor. That means a little more money and it could be hard to find one in the comp. ratio you want.
