Default Kodiak 450 Stability

I'm interested in a kodiak 450 but was curious about who stable it is. I thought I had read where it was kind of "tippy". Does anyone know how it compares to a prairie 360 and a vinson 500 ? These are the other 2 bikes I'm interested in. The Yamaha seems to have everything I'm looking for but a want a stable bike. Thanks for your opinions and advice in advance.

I had a Kodiak 400 (same chassis and dimensions as the 450), and I can tell you it was indeed "tippy". I have never ridden a Prairie 360, but it should be much more stable, as it is almost 5" wider than the Kodiak.

My '04 Kodiak 450 is pretty unstable. I've got my shocks on the highest preload and I'm running 6.5 psi in the tires so it handles a little better than stock. I'm planning on upgrading to some C series rims and 26" ITP 589s for a little more stability this summer. Get the Kodiak, you won't be disappointed!

The stock tires are pretty crappy and full of body role. Changing the tires makes a big difference.
