Carb Help
#1
Im not to smart when it comes to the carburators. When you are jetting how do you know what jet to change? I know that the main, needle, and pilot all control different speeds from idle to wide open. When you re-jet how do you know which one to change?
any help would be great,
thanks

Depends on what it is doing really....if it cuts out on top end, you need a new main...around mid, u need a pilot, it it does when you start out (which normally doesnt) you need to move the needle...best description i can give...thats how I have heard to find out

If i add a K&N and maybe put some holes in the air box lid along with V-force reed cage and 1/2'' spacer with my pipe will i have to change all of the jets?
Does anyone have any experience in these mods. If you do just let me know so i can maybe take some time off of the trial and error. I just need a place to start.
Thanks.

Best way to jet, is to use evidence and symtoms.
Evidence would be spark plug color.
Symtoms would be poor running, smoke, hard starting, missing ,sputtering, backfiring and so on.
