Default New to board - new ATV - Questions

Hi, all! I just purchased a 2004 Bruin 350 4x4.... otd for $4535. I've been looking for a mid-sized ATV to use at my hunting lease and for some casual trail riding. Nothing fast, but I wanted a capable machine. I hope I made the right choice.

Question - I've been looking at some possible mods/accessories and it would appear that none of the internet sellers have mods/accessories to fit this machine. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm assuming it's because the machine is a new model. Would some of the accessories from the Kodiak fit since it appears to have the same chassis? My first accessory will be a Warn 2.5 winch.

Thanks for the thoughts and I'm glad to be here!!!!

Have you checked ebay. After using ebay for 3 years, I don't think I would ever buy anything else from a store, except for food and clothing.

Default New to board - new ATV - Questions

Hi Jeff,

Welcome to the forums and congratulations on your recent purchase. As you know, the Bruin is a quite recent addition to the atv market and as of the present, not a lot of aftermarket accessories have been introduced. However, your dealer may be able to help you with information concerning whether parts from previous models will fit yours. The warn winch kit you mentioned is offered by Yamaha and can be view at this link. Hope this helps a little.

Thanks for the replies...

jrobertson - been there, done that on eBay - how do you think I bought the ATV?

HoundDog06 - Thanks for the info. I'm hoping the manufacturers hurry up and put out the products for this rig.

warrior226 - Thanks for the tip and link. I've called these guys before and "Mike" is super!

---------------------------
I'm guessing some of the parts/accessories fit the Bruin already because the frame dimensions are the same as the Kodiaks, but until the Bruin shows up in the catelogs and on the internet sites, I'm pretty sure I'll have to call the manufacturers for sizing/applicability on a case-by-case basis.

Thanks for the help you guys!!!
