First time we brought one of the banshees to the 1/8 i ran a 7.92 @ 82mph, but times could have been better since the front end was lifting even ith it owered and a +5 swingarm. You've got some good times on your raptor

Caliraptor if you want some incredible traction try some American Racers they are about 23 on the durometer very soft but they hold up much better than mickey thompson slicks . You will cut your times considerably if you can launch hard go for the wheely bars and get your tires as sticky as possible .
Love to see some video of that!!!
I ran the mickeys they were ok but switched to the American racers and they would hold up a whole season I was hitting 56 MPH in 100 feet
But of course that was on a lawn mower

Id love to get a set of slicks. Ive got Mickey Thompson Sportmans 33x19.50x15 on my Pro Street Ford and they have been a REALLY good tire. Im slowly building a wheelie bar, been looking at different designs and ideas and I might have it done by April. Ive also looked at some of those american racer tires on ebay and they seem like they would hold up pretty good, Im gonna have to get me some These runs where just to have something to compare to so after I put on my new intake and jet up I can have some solid info on how much I gained.

What were your 60' times like, that is the best way to see how much improvement you have left.I doubt your getting the best launch now with a stock swingarm setup,so you should see big gains when you extend it.
