Dominated the drags last night!

I went to the dragsrtip south of ther border and got some good times. I was beating Cobras, Chrokees, Camaro's and a dumb *** Sentra R. My best time was 8.767 @ 75.65mph in the 1/8. A friend took his 04 Banshee with T-5s and his best of the night was a 9.5 but he was getting more mph on average. All of these runs where made without lifting the front end much, probably a couple of inches, I think Im getting the hang of racing on asphault but I would rather have a +4 swing and a wheelie bar, THEN I COULD LET HER RIP! Anyone have 1/8 ETs? I also have the time slips to prove this!

I dont know about the 1/4 mile...right now Im geared to run mostly in the 1/8..but I think with the right gearing and a little shot of giggle juice I can beat some cars. A guy was running 6.1s@105mph in his Paxton Supercharged Pony and that thing isnt the fastest around here, so I still have work to do

what gearing u running. I ran a 8.7 , 8.5 then an 8.3 the first time i went to the track since i got my bike running again. The 8.3 was at 80 mph. I had 14, 40 gearing but i think that was a little too high, i want to get a rear 38 tooth sprocket. I also have je 12:1 686 and hot cam stage 2. But i still have stock tires and swingarm. Hope to be able to go next wednesday.

Over the summer i took my 450 to Cordova drag strip and ran a 9.3 on my stock 450 with the airbox lid removed..... And that was lifting the front tire horribly. If i could of launced my times would of been alot better. Cant wait to try it with Mods.

First time we brought one of the banshees to the 1/8 i ran a 7.92 @ 82mph, but times could have been better since the front end was lifting even ith it owered and a +5 swingarm. You've got some good times on your raptor .
