Default Dune night riders......

Does anybody know what the maximum wattage my stock stator can put out for extra lighting. I can't see anything at night w/ the stock lighting on my Raptor. I want to change the originals out w/ something better and add maybe two more lights if possible. Let me know guys.

I do not know what the output is but there is a pretty cool option from Trail Tech, they sell these MR16 High Intensity Discharge Lights that consume 24 watts of power but output as good as 75 watt bulbs. I am going to look into them myself. I ride at night in the dunes and would really like some flame throwers to light the way better than stockers. Check em out on the web and let me know if you pull the trigger on them, how they work.

Thanks Turtler for responding. I was thinking of trying something cheaper because I don't run w/ lights at all normally but I want something I can zip tie on before I head out for night rides. I've seen those flood lights that the kids and their Hondas (cars) use on their ricecars on quads. They're super bright and I might give that a try, I think the voltage they need is the same, I just don't know what they put out. I really want to light it up in front of me and would like to go four floods but I don't know if my bike can handle four. That's my dillemma. I noticed your in Scottsdale, I'm in Mesa, where do you ride? (besides the dunes ofcourse)

I have a friend who lives up in New River so we ride out of his property into that open desert towards Table Mesa road, up around Lake Pleasant and have even done the loop to Crown King. Great burgers and cold beer after 4 hours in the saddle. I like to ride out by 11 mile wash (also called Blue Wash) by Bartlett Lake. A big group of guys I ride with are heading down to Gordons Well next friday for the weekend. Hope the wind isnt howling.

Your pics posted above your name are hilarious.

Thanks dude, does anybody have any input on my situation. I really don't want to change out my stator because I just changed my one way and don't want to go back in there. I just need more light. Any suggestions would be great.

Have it rewound. rickystator does an awesome job. They probably have lights that will help turn night into day.
