IMHO with the FCR's you will have enough bottom end with ANY cam.......

I have the stage two and my dad has the sparks high rev. I have more bottom end, but he as a lot more on top. It is a megacycle cam, but you cannot buy it through them, it is different than the x3 or x4, it is a custom grind. It is a lot more expensive than the stage two though. I've heard good and bad about the web685, being that is is hard to tune and dune??? never tried it though.

I want a cam that give tremendous top end pull, and I don't really care about lossing bottom end (I am use to riding two strokes) So which cam do you guys think is better, the web 685 or the megacycle 280x4? Which has the higher lift, and longer duration?

Thanks

I don't know the 685 specs off hand, but here is the 280x4 and then the 280x14.
I would liek to try the 280x14 or the 685, I am not sure which way I would go first. I know a couple people who really like the 685, but have never talked to anybody about the 280x14.

280-x4 lift dura lobe center

int: .452" 276° 108°
ex: .429" 274° 108°

280-x14

int: .452" 292° 108°
ex: .412" 294° 108°

I have heard MANY conflicting stories about ALL of the Sparks cams.

EDIT: found the 685 specs.

685
lift dura
int: .452 292
ex: .424 289

side note, don't do a google search for web cam...it doesn't show you Web's site.....LOL

I talked to megacycle last week and they said that the 280X14 is for strictly drag racing.........
it supposedly kills all bottom end..........

I don't know.......I would still like to try it....
