Hello, I have a 2000 Wolverine that I race in Hare Scrambles. All I've done to it is put a K&N filter, a skid plate and a twist throttle on it. I'm looking for some advice or recomendations on getting a performance pipe, and tires for aggressive trail riding. Or, anything else that could enhance the performance. Also, has anyone done anything with the suspension. My machine seems awfully rough on the trails. Please send me your ideas.

Well usually in harescrambles you dont have to have a quiet pipe. So I would go with a pure performance type pipe, I have a procircuit t-4 and love it, it loud but you can tune it with different end tips for low mid or hi range power. It also has a quiet core which is available this month. if the procircuit isnt your type try the whitebros R-Series or the Yoshimura slip on warrior silencer. most warrior slip ons will fit the wolverine. As for shocks I would go with works performance. But I would upgrade to a durablue axle, because the stock axle is the weak link when it comes to suspension. Oh And if I were you I would make it a number 1 priority to purchase a prodesign intake system with a uni filter or K&N the foam filters a little better than a k&n but get what you want, its about 90 with foam and 60 for the k&n adapter only no filter. i would buy this first before you do anything else it will save your engine from damage. Then get a pipe and rejett and go race. If you have any more questions feel free to mail me

I put works shocks on the front of mine and it help out alot. They soak up the bumps and jumps alot. You also might want to put a steering stabilizer on to help out on arm fatige.
