Default Raptor clutch basket...need help

If anybody is in the process of switching to a different basket I need a favor. In between the basket and the gear are two washers. One of these is cone shaped, the other is flat. Can somebody measure the flat one for me please!?!?!?!? ID, OD, and how thick.

Mine seems to have grown legs and walked off. The only way I see to get a new one from Yamaha is by orderring a $237 clutch basket. So I am thinking maybe I can find one somewhere local. Thats if mine doesn't turn up.

Thanks for the help!

I've got a Hinson basket in mine and I love it. When I put my 686 kit in, there was not a groove to be found in the basket after a year and a half of use. Great product.

Just be careful when installing it. It's easy to mess up the plastic gear when grinding out the rivets if you slip. Then you'll have to buy another stock basket just for the freakin' plastic gear.

I try to tell my wife that my procrastinating is a good thing. I told her I might be having to buy a new stock clutch basket for 237, for a $1 part off of it. Then I told her if I would have taken the trash out in my shop when she told me to I wouldn't have found it......I still don't think she agrees with me.LOL

NY02Raptor, I went with the six spring set up. I got it from Craycraft and its all Hinson parts. Hinson parts are the best when it comes to clutch componets. The six spring clutch is not cheap, but it should get me more power to the rear wheels and make my clutch life alot longer. I'll have some pics of it up in a week or so.

The creeping problem is caused from something, a grooved basket might be it, but I think something else will do it too. I'm not thinking straight right now or I might remember (its bed time).

well it sounds more an more like i might just have to do a CC 686 kit with all the extra goodies to make it last... will a 686 run on pump gas still? also how much is the 6 spring setup?

The 6 spring Hinson clutch setup is $850 if I remember correctly, all billet basket, hub, and pressure plate. Craycraft has a 686 kit that runs on pump gas.
