Default Oregon ATV query

Hi- total, absolute newbie here.

I would like to buy a HondaTRX450 or the new Yamaha 2004 model here in Oregon. I need to know A) who the best-priced dealers would be, and B)does the total cost of the vehicle include tax,tag and title (OK-no sales tax here so...). Are tags required in Oregon?

The next thing I need to know is that I will be in Europe for about 6 weeks and would like to ship it over-any idea of costs and who to contact?

Thanks!

There is only one Honda dealer in Bend and I think they also sell Yamaha. The only time I heard of really good deals there was when I was at the local sportsman show. They had a Rubicon for under 7000. When I went to the dealer they would not give me the same deal so I did not buy. I bought my last quad in Ontario Oregon over the phone. It is a huge farming community and I saved 600 bucks. (they seem to be a little hungrier for the business there than they are here)

Good luck shipping it to Europe. It might be cheaper to rent one while your there. Good luck

I would look into the renting thing. seems like too much money and too big of a hassle to ship one over for 6wks and then back to the states

Believ it or not renting is not cheap, and sending it would cost about $200....

That's right, Bend Rec. I would be concerned about shipping. What if some kind of terrorist thing came out and they decided to let your ship sit at the docks. I also wonder about terriffs and things like that. Would you have to have the thing checked through customs and so on and so on. You gey my point.
