I have an 88 warrior. It runs good and everything. Is there any downfalls besides miles of having an old 88 warrior?

Nope. I dont think they changed at all. A warrior is a rightouse machine either way.

Nothing wrong with an old Warrior. They are excellent machines. Just continue to do necessary maintnence and it should last a long time. Don't forget there are things like bushings and bearings that can wear out on an older machine and if you do not replace them when they need replaced your machine will quickly turn into junk. Upkeep is the key.

I have a 1987 Warrior. This machine has been very good to me. ALthough keep and eye on your Upper a-arms. I have bent 5 of them after a small jump or rock crawling. I have offset front wheels, so beware... They have a very poor design. I would suggest calling up NCY Yamaha to get factory parts, they have good deals.

My warrior has pulled me through the mountians of Colorado 4 times now. it is known as old reliable. You will need to put in new bearings, bushings, grease. This will insure you will have a long lived quad. Keep it maintained and treat it with some respect. That quad is older than many members here i would assume
