how much faster is the Yfz 450 than the Raptor 660 stock????[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

I really only think its like a 5mph difference. I have only heard through forums or non-official sites. Never on paper. But the drivers weight could be an issue if your being specific. I really think you should worry about who gets there faster.

 

I didn't know the YFZ was faster. Where did you hear this? Though I have not ridden a YFZ, I know a few people who own them. I've never heard this from them.

I have to say I am biased because I have a raptor, but the first time I test rode one at the dealer I was blown away!

 

The Raptor is faster on top speed but the yfz gets up to speed much faster

 

RAPTOR 660 all the way GO yamaha! but i still like Hondas

 

Does it matter? Ride what you have, if you want to find out, race one. And if you cant, do a search!

 

indeed they are both awsome machines.. Id take either iof them.. If you want top speed the rappy can get up in front in a about a half mile race the yfz is crazy oin its accel and wont wheelie nearly as easy. They are foir diffrent purposes rappy fast trail rding machine and yfz full blown racer right out of the box.. If you are lookign into getting one then base your opinoin on what you ride more

 

Hey I don't care about the yfz or the raptor being faster there both yamaha and I own both of them. I think there both the ****. I love YAMAHA and that's about it. Although the new honda is inpressive.

some of the guys at the dealership (who drag race their quads) state that the yfz will whoop the raptor's *** at the 1/8 mile, but the raptor will win the 1/4 mile race....

oh, and because the yfz has a lower center of gravity, you can give it more power faster w/out worrying about staring at the sky, and wondering why yer back hurts... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
