Its obvious that this forum is conservative, and I agree with it. However, I dont particularly approve of the job bush has done.
Our economy is suffering, people are out of work, and Bush is cutting education and social security for somewhat biased tax cuts and a trip to mars.
C'mon guys, I like riding too, just not enough to endanger the entire economy. I hate kerry, and never really like dean, edwards, or any of the others. In fact, I cant think of any of the candidates i've seen for a long time. I didnt like clinton in office, but he did a good job of keeping us out of domestic problems. I hated GWB, almost as much as I hated gore, until 9-11. George did the right thing there, and I have always respected him for that. I just dont think the rest of his policies are good for the people and the nation as a whole.
Feel free to rip me apart and belittle me and my words. They are just my opinions and I dont ask that anyone has to feel the same way, I just want to be able to say it.

Practily if you want a good economy you just go out abnd find a job.. look hard...you really think dean is going to make it any better beacuase he gave a speach with his suite arms rolled up and yehawwed or somthing.. i didnt know this about kerry... If i was old enough to vote he would have mine. Its treehuggers and "Keep the world like it was 600 years ago" kind of people that are closing down your local tracks. I saw it to good ole goerge riding around on a rancer.. He has a offroad goldcart 2 with atv tires and some custom engine sounds pretty sick imagine if he was on the forums haha. As atv rider we shall unite and take down kerry a men to that

Ridley, once again you've posted exactly what I was thinking - props to you!!!
maddog56 - no more engineering homework help for you until you wake up. With thinking like that you might as well not even go to grad school...
back to topic...
twolv, you obviously are confused about which side to be on considering NAFTA - implementation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) began on Jan. 1, 1994. Yup, that was the last era of Democrap control.
For all you government t!t suckers out there that decry less beaucracy, wait for more handouts, and personal freedoms be damned - SHAME ON YOU. That mind-set is an underlying part of the problem...
FYI - Assault weapons ban expired Jan 1st, 2004 and it hasn't been renewed yet. GWB is against it being renewed, too. Kerry... is all for another 10 years of nonsense.

I'm conservative, christian, heterosexual, and love the outdoors and being able to use it. By that extension I am Republican. I am with Bush when November rolls around, but thats because he is better than the alternatives. I think we are better off with bush than anyone else we have the option for right now, but I dont think he is necessarily the best we could have. I just look forward to the 2008 election when there will be a new crop of republicans to take a look at.

One thing some seem to have trouble grasping is that the economy, read deficit, is largely imaginary. The US doesnt back the dollar with any actual standard as was done many years ago with gold. The value of the dollar is in the world's perception of it. When the government needs more cash they simply print it and put it in circulation, it's a fact. Do any of you really believe the government could support it's spending with tax revenue? I think the figure is something like $12K for every man, woman, child in the US. This is federal spending only, not including state and local tax. Now for jobs, NAFTA is the biggest reason for job exports and that wasnt GWB. The economy started to fall in it's predictable cycle when Clinton was president, the ENRON scandal was done during the Clinton administration and came to a head during Bush's reign. Worldcomm did the same fuzzy bookkeeping during the Clinton admin and was caught in the Bush time. Basically all the crap they got away with under the Dems watch they got nailed for under the Bush administration. I find it hard to believe any of the democratic supporters are actually looking into any FACTS and they just act like sheep believing everything the blatantly biased media says. PAY attention and double check stuff for yourselves, it's not that difficult. You 20ish Bush bashers will wake up by 30 if you pay attention and it'll be too late to fix what you did. Just look at the most screwed up places in the United States, who runs em? It's not that hard to figure out they were blue in 2000.

If you had posted the above in your response to the thread I wouldn't have jumped all over you. The election really comes down to the lesser of two evils. Every year it is pretty clear cut, though.
What strikes me as odd is how people are jumping all over Bush about his military record when slick Willie, like the spineless coward he is, ran up north to avoid the draft. Gotta love the media...
