Are dirtbikes really all that much faster than us??

Are dirtbikes really all that much faster than us??
i havent raced a dirtbike, so would a yz 125 or rm 250 beat kill a yfz 450? stock
My yfz is hella fast and if dirtbikes are fatser than the yfz , thats just insane
I still havent race my neighbors rm 250 he sed he needs to work on it.
Is he gonnA put my 450 to shame?

Dirtbikes are "quicker" than quads but quads have better topend. My friend who owns a CR250 says it tops out at about 70/72 mph, and that thing pulls SOO quick its crazy.

the cycles are just so much lighter... that's why they kick ***.... it's power to weight ratio... Sure it seem like yer yfz is hella fast, until you jump on a bike....

Forgot to mention, once you get the hang of dirtbikes for MX racing, the quad will seem INCREDIBLY slow in comparison! But don't get me wrong my YFZ is VERY fast and does extremely well on the MX track too, thats why I have the quad and the bikes! LOL!
