The new 'little' Raptor 350 has had some revamping of the ports done, other than that it's the same old bird.

Old Dragginbutt here.... Initial comparison of the pictures indicates to me that the only differences are in teh plastic and a change in wheel/tire sizes. It doesn't appear to have any other changes to include chassis or motor. I believe what you see is Yamaha's attempt to update the look without alienating all the old Warrior owners.... I say Yippie!!!!

The next question out of my mouth is will the new style plastic bolt on to my older Warrior so I can update the look? I sure hope so.... Now what do I do with all that new (old style) plastic I bought a couple years ago and haven't had time to change over yet?

Changes: New rear shock, smaller "normal" sized tires, mikuni bsr carb, new plastic, new exhaust.

Does this new BSR carb have an accelerator pump?

Well Maddog, if that is correct, it makes sense. I bet the same parts will bolt on to my old warrior real nice then... I might need to fabricate a bracket here or there, but it all looks like it is update stuff with no frame mods.

The only thing sagging more than the backside of my jeans in the rear of the old warrior.... it could use a bit of updating I guess... but that new old style seat I just bought sure is comfortable.... I sure hate to give up on the new plastic, but maybe I can hang it on the wall in my party room just like the dealer had it in his parts warehouse gathering dust... It would look better than a dead moose head right?

Which brings up another point... dudes, if you are going to ask your dealer to order a complete set of plastic for a quad including seat, be decent enough to complete the purchase when it comes in... The parts totalled over 6 hundred bucks, and my dealer had to eat it. Those parts hung on his wall for almost 4 years before I openned my big yapper and offered him 2 large bills for them... he took it! Oh crap, there I go spending money again... now I have to break the news to the old lady that I need the new stuff to update old faithfull. Hey, I got real good at dodging a broom handle when I was young, but old age and a bum knee has shifted the advantage to her side...

Still if I can update the old machine to look like a new raptor 350 without spending a ton of money, it would still be cheaper than buying a new bike... (Not that I don't already have 4 in the shed to ride now). Hey, I could paint the frame red, get the white body parts and she could call it her own... that would work for me.... She likes those red and white ones any way.... God don't get her next to the metallic red Grizzly... the old wallet would take a big hit if she did...
