Default Race Cut

After I took off my heel guards on my blaster i noticed that the rear fender is longer on one side then the other. I want to cut them to even them out but in order to do that I would need to remove the lower bracket that hold the bottom of the fender down. If I take them off and cut the fender will it be alot more fragile and easier to break?

Not sure what you mean exactly when I cut my banshee plastics I cut the almost all the way of to the bar was not needed. It does not make it brittle I think it is actually stronger to get ride of all that plastic. I rolled my banshee and I think if the plastic was ther I would be looking at replacement plastics. I hope this helps.

Well see the rear fender that comes down on each side is held on by a bracket. I want to cut them off straight almost in line with the seat. But by doing this i will also have to remove the brackets.

Ok I see your talking about cutting your rear. I don't see why it would become weak I mean your taking off most of the fender and the brace is only there for the fender. So I think you should be all set.

ok great
Arnt the fenders pretty stong on there own? Because I have rolled my bike a few times and havn't busted up my fenders yet. I guess i am just wondering if the brackets are what keeps the fender from snapping off when it rolls.

I will be home for sure
But your gonna have to take a rain check on that because there is so much snow you won't even be able to get it 2 feet out of the shead.
Plus im not putting the swingarm back on yet, im going to wait.

Why do you want to cut your rear fenders?
