Default Raptor Radiator cap

Has anyone ever needed to replace their Rad. Cap before? I think mine is bad and I havn't checked it yet. A new one is $35.75 on alba's yamaha parts finder! That seems crazy. I guess I gotta get it checked before I go buy one.

Go to the auto parts store and pick one up for a suzuki samari. It'll fit your raptor. About 5.00

Well I found out its not the radiator cap.

After putting on a new cap it still blows coolant into the overflow tank. After 3 or 4 runs up the hill @ Sand Mountain It's running on the ground. I know its not over heating because I changed over to Alky and the motor only gets warm enough to put you hand on the cyl. New Head gasket in my future .
