That thing is insanely fast. Sure gave THEBOM a good run. I'm not up to drag racing like you guys but Biggin is all over it and would likely be the pilot.

I guess I'm going to have to check it out this year. On the other hand, maybe I better not, I might decide I need more motor.

 

There was a guy at Sandfest last year with, I think, an R1 engine in his Rap, but may have been an R6. It had nitrous, too. Go to dsimages.net for pictures.

 

I am not sure what he wants for it. I raced against it at Malden speedway (circle track). I was pulling him down the straights because he did nothing but SPIN! You could hear his tires squalling even halfway down the straightaway.

 

I have not read that on these forums. My first post was joking around. Chubbynub claimed too have a Raptor with a R1 motor installed....when everyone asked for pics he never post posted again. The consensus is that Chubbynug was BSing and instead of admitting it he did not post anymore under that user name.

 

I was thinking of the samething here but I can get a CBR 929R right now with only 3000 miles on it for 500.00!! I am just in need of all the info but dont want it to take a year!! My uncle has installed many ninja 600 motors into quad frames. he has put them into suzuki 500's, 250's, also a few honda 250r's. hes got all the mounting templates and can get it swapped in a couple weeks. the ninjas are really fast and sound sick with those dual pipes out the back. they run the oregon dunes alot this time of year.

I wish someone had a kit to install aftermarket engines such as the 929r. I havent really looked into this motor but the sprockets are on the same side. Plus its fuel injected and I think that would be awesome!!
