wader, MudLites would be great so would Bear Claws and quite a few people on here realy like the 589's, I personaly thought it was great mud tire but lacked alot for overall trail riding. Bear Claws performed well in every catergory and no wear issues with them. the MudLites that I am currently riding on have also been a great all around tire and I thought them to be better then average rock tire for traction. Down side of them is you can not stud them like the 589's so they of course do not do well on ice. Since you have the Grizzly I would look for the 27 inchers as I have saw the after effect of the 28's cycling of the suspension after jumping, both rear fenders cracked. You would think that an inch would not make that big of differnce. All the tires I listed run around the same price, except if you go to NEBRASKA TIRE online(spelling), they have factory seconds and blems for super cheap and lots of guys have bought them and have been happy. The shipping was good to. Hope this helps.AKBoy.

I would suggest the bear claws from kenda espessially for Canada because they ride great on packed roads and in mud but espesially because they ride gread in snow. Where i have a buddie who has mudlites on his ac and they just dig in the snow to deep where the bear claws seen to work better. The mudlites do run better in mud though. But i dont regret getting my bear claws. And since all canadians live in igloos lol we need good snow tires.

Personaly, I am still working on that. I was reading a thread earlier where several people said that wear was extensive if ridden on asphalt for lengthy periods of time. It is a softer rubber to give better traction in slippery rocks and gravel and if you ask me any ATV tire will wear if ridden on pavement/asphalt. I looked at a Foreman a few years back with the 589's and it had less then 1000 miles on it and they was hardly any tread left, I think this quad spent alot of time on the roads it should not of been on.
The Bear Claws I had on my King Quad had 900 miles on them and I could see no excessive tread wear if any and I hear that they are making them in 6 ply too. I do not recall what the ply rating on the old Claws were but I never cut or puntcured them and I rode on alot of sharp shale. The same shale I cut my Riken Raiders that were on my Jeep and poked a hole in the factory tires that originaly came on the King.
I know FastBanshee says his buddys quad just digs in but if you let some air out of the tire it will give a larger foot print and float beter then digging in. I run 3 pounds of air and you can see the wider print and gives a better ride. AlaskaBoy.
