Default kodiak 450 owners beware

I had a headlight problem with my Kodiak and decided to take it into the dealer to have it fixed because its still under warranty. The problem was that they installed the wrong headlights in it from the factory the headlights should have been 35 watt and the ones that were in it was 50 watt so the sockets the bulbs plug into was all melted and needed new ones along with some of the wiring harness. I am sure glad I got in in before the warranty ran out. So for those of you that haven't really run you headlight alot you might want to check the bulbs to be sure you don't have a melt down like I did and have it come out of your pocket! My headlight would work fine for about 20 min. and then one would go out or dim right down and sometimes both would dim or go out. I thought it was a bad ground......well I gess it was that and alot more! Good luck
