Need Raptor Diagnostic help.

OK almighty Raptor guru's, I have a problem with my 02 and it's driving me nuts!
Went to Glamis a few weeks ago, and it ran fine. Did some maint. to it, and now it runs like crap! I lashed valves (intakes were a little tight), greased rear linkage, and hard wired in my kill switch (used switch last year temporary splice into white/red wire above shifter...Magneto to CDI per manual). Now it refuses to take any throttle above 1/4 (sounds like rev limiter). I had done away with clutch switch and parking brake over a year ago. Reverse switch is bypassed (grounded out).
I have rechecked valve clearance too many time to remember (thinking I had adjusted on wrong stroke the first time, but it was spot on.) I have removed kill switch from mix. I have checked grounds. I cleaned carbs (hoping it was a clogged jet). I have undone almost everything (haven't reinstalled dirt into linkage yet), trying to figure out where I went wrong.
I am at a total loss, and I need your help. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I don't wanna pay the dealership big $ to tell me it was somethin stupid. Thanks, Whipped Haz

The only thing I can offer is to check the wires that used to go to the P-brake. Maybe something has happened to them and they are grounding or touching each other. You can have alot of wear from rubbing wires in a year.
