Default any one put a detriot gearless locker on a wolverine? if not they make them now.

this thing will make both wheels turn on the front axel no matter what. here is some more info ion it. or go to highlifter makes it. ttp://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_catalog/Product.jsp?kuId=550197&store=Main&productId=p5501 97&catId=112&leafCatId=11204

Rugged, fully-automatic 100 percent locking differential for the front wheels
Provides much easier steering than spool-type locked differentials
Differential is both durable and speed sensitive for precise torque application to the wheels in turns
Steel disc assembly allows one wheel to rotate faster in a turn while the other wheel spins at a precise slower rate
Unit keeps both front wheels locked together, and there is never a condition in which one wheel stops spinning
Does not use switches, cable, air or external control
Designed for shine in toughest environments -- mud, water, rocks and much more

And it sells for $368.00

If you put it on tell me how it goes or if you already have one.

I WANT TO TRY ONE OF THESE!

Ummmm, these have been out for some time now.

Do a search for "Detroit Gearless Locker" or "DGL" and you will find plenty of feedback.

aintnostoppin 424 select isnt the same thing. 424 select disengauges the front wheels and makes it able to go into 2x4 mode. the Detroit Gearless locker ( check out highlifter.com) locks the front differential so that both wheels spin all the time and you dont end up stuck in a hole with one front wheel spinning away while the other one bucks or doesnt spin at all. i've heard good reviews on the gearless locker but dont know from first hand experience. I have the Warn 424 select and I love that baby for sure. I added that, FMF pipe, K&N intake and some renthal bars w/ grips and moose handguards. couldnt be happier with it!

The DGL's have been out for a couple years. I also have the 424 select from Warn-good mod. Don't know a whole lot about the DGL except what I read. Makes the steering somewhat harder , but not as bad as most diff locks. When in turns the outter wheel spins faster making steering easier. I don't think I would consider this modification without the 424 or the unlocker from highlifters.

Hey CTATV, I'll bet that DGL would be pretty nice with the 424, since you can now take it out of 4-wheel.
