I have been kicking around the idea of getting cool heads for my shee and was wonderin how much difference they make. I am kinda confused right now.

sstock psi is around 120, with cool head it goes up to like 180 or 190 psi, think about it

Is it worth getting the heads or shaving the stock ones.

Not true,

The compression changes with the size of domes you put in it. That would be like an 18-19 you dont want that much. BOOOOM thats the sound your crank will make if not welded at that psi.

Milled head is a great mod for cheap. Dont go above .30 over or squish will be a problem. For after market head get a Noss head. www.nossmachine.com. Same as cool head but uses stock studs, and looks better.

If i shave the head .30 over I can still sun pump gas right? And how much gain did you get from your shee with this mod or is it worth getting a noss head instead.
Thanx

I have a Noss head and love it. The lower # of cc's=more compression. More compression gives better low end power and a broader powerband. If you are going to run a compression that requires race gas, you will most likely need to have the crank welded. I run 20cc domes and they are perfect for 93 octane pump gas. The problem with milling the stock head is you will overheat much easier than before. Any aftermarket head has a larger coolant capacity so it wont overheat. If you have the money get a Noss.

Yes, 93 octane is about the minimum for .30, depends alot on your elevation though.

Check out the bansheehq.com forums too. They have a classifieds section and I just saw a milled head for sale over there a little bit ago.

Thanx everyone i will prop go for the noss head and im on the bhq forums highflyinraptorryder but the proplem is the that i live in Canada and its hard to deal with people in the States just because of the exchange rate, and the distance to ship. I wish it was easier because thats were all the parts and quads are. I may have to move soon. lol
