Default Raptor Clutch Perch

Gotta buddy that wants to ex-nay the nasty stock perch. He got his block off plate for the e-brake. So what is a good perch/lever combo? Some of them don't use the sensor, so what do you do with it so that it still starts in gear? We also thought about using a yfz clutch perch. Any thoughts or experiences?

I went with this one, not the best, but not the worst. Seems to work well.

When I got rid of my stock unit I went with a Yamaha Works YZ clutch perch. It is black with a gold quick adjust ****. It is really light, has a good ratio, and has held up to abuse for about 18 months. As for the two switches, I believe you ground the p-brake to itself and leave the clutch switch open (just disconnect it). I am trying to remember 18 months ago, so do some more research, but I think that is how it goes. That way it will start in gear and the p-brake rev limiter will be bypassed. Good Luck

I got a grinder/buffing wheel to mine and shaved the top off smoothe and placed a rubber cover over it and kept the clutch sensor. Looks sweet as h3ll and keeps me from starting it with out the clutch pulled in.

After you remove all the e-brake cable you can unplug the push button switch for the neutral start and where it comes apart the two wires are one male and one femal just unplug the button and then plug the two wire together this will allow you to start any any gear. The other wire you need to unplug is the e-brake rev limiter plug, just unplug it and get rid of it. As far as the perch I personal like a honda perch, just because they pull easy and you can get a perch and lever with quick adjustment from Moose for about $30.
