I was just wondering what the percentage of riders mix there oil rather than trusting the injector to do it on the Blaster.

I'm ordering a block off kit tomorrow and I have a '00 Blaster. I think mixing makes it run alittle cooler too

Injection!

BTW: How would oil injection make a motor run hotter?

in the summer months you get more oil than you need and it makes you run a little hotter. Plus you can change your ratios if needed

TRUST the oil injector. I have a 1989 Blaster with oil injection and I can't remember a single time when I checked on the oil pump to see if it was in good working order...and ya know what...it never failed me once! Plus, oil injection is much much simpler =)

Inj. is a very nice thing to have and very convinent too. But with it you are limited to the oils you can use. Block it off and you can run a better ratio and a better grade oil too. You will not see alot of smoke as with the stock inj. Plus you will feel the difference too. I blocked mine due to I got a CT240 kit. But it is nice to be able to just pull up to a pump and go. I ran the Maxima Super M Inj. oil when mine was hooked up still. It comes in the light blue bottle and most of the time the shops don't have it but came order it. It made a difference and the atv stopped smoking.
