Default Bent raptor pitman arm

Jaybird,
ATV Four play makes extended stems for the raptor, including hardware. So he can probably give you a better deal on one than Elden. If it is just the pitman arm that's bent, you could also try bending it back yourself. It doesn't have to be exact, because you can make up the difference in adjusting your tie-rods. As long as you replace the seal and everything is tight, it should be fine. I would check to make sure that nothing else is bent.

Default Bent raptor pitman arm

Anyone know how to remove the ball joints from the pitman arm? I took the nut off the top, but it seems stuck. Is it welded or can I tap it out with a hammer?

mine was like that the frist time i took mine out...i hit it out with a hammer and i had to re-tread them cuz i f-ed them up...try jus moving the handel bars and pushing down on them they should pop out ...wd-40 might help...if u have to use a hammer but the treads push agenst the sides of the pitmal mount and f-s the treads up

Default Bent raptor pitman arm

Use a ball joint remover. It may be over-sized to remove the tie-rod ends, but it depends on how big the joint remover is. Mine worked just fine on the tie-rod ends.
