I have a stock bore/piston Raptor with a Yosh full Comp system, Craycraft ported head, Stage 1 Hotcam, open airbox, Edelbrock carb, Dyna Ignition

My friend has a Raptor with a Trinty ported 686, Yosh full system, cam (not sure what type), open airbox, stock carbs, Dyna Ignition

Both before and after the can being freshly repacked mine is much louder than his. Does anyone have any idea why? Thanks,

Could have to do with the porting of the exhaust ports maybe yours has more machined off it? You are probably flowing a little more then him through the exhaust. Also are you both running the same compression?

 

I have stock comp, I think he has high compression, but I don't know for sure.

By the way, mine was louder than his even before I had the porting done.

How is the packing inside, is yours older?? Could neeed repacked......
My buddies Z400 had a yosh slip-on and it was louder then my raptor with a full yosh, I never figured that one out either..
