Default Roll Design Shifters? Any Good?

I have a cheap-o replacement shifter that is just black steel, not chrome, billet, or stainless steel, but it only cost me $25. I got it off ebay last year. Like the RD and Pro-Design, it gets rid of the linkage. Like previously stated, the throw is a little longer, but you get used to it.

You will miss alot less shifts, be able to shift quicker, and each shift will feel smoother and more solid once you get used to the longer throw.

So what would you guys suggest as the best shifters out of all the companies? Best quality, longest lasting, or just overall best performance.

For Banshee owners, aftermarket shifters are an absolute MUST! If you've ever been out in the middle of nowhere with a broken stock shifter, you know what I'm talkin' about. I have owned two Banshees and I installed ProDesign billet aluminum shifters on both of them.

The stock shifter on my DS650 is much stronger than stock Banshee shifters. However, IMS/Roll Design just came out with a replacement shifter for the Bomb, so I just ordered one. Hopefully it will have less flex than the stock shifter, plus it WILL look great!

i could really use one of these for my 94' warrior. i found a couple on ebay, but none specifically for a warrior. i see one for a rapter. would this work, is the shift shaft the same diameter and would the splines match up?

Is anybody else having this problem and how did u fix it if u did.
i noticed what you are talking about. i have had the ims shifter for about 6 months and i hate it you have to lift the shifter sooo much higher. i am going to try out my stock linkage again and see what i like better

I might do the same thing killer. I had my raptor on the mx track for practice on wednesday and i was missing way to many shifts. I think if it had been i race i probably would have been run right off the track. So as much as i dont like to say it, I think the stock setup is actually better!
