I got mine off ebay for a nice price. It makes your shifts feel a lot cleaner. With the stock linkage, I could barely tell if I even shifted or not until I let out the clutch.

It is one of the best investments you can make.I could barely find nuetral with the linkage set up.Itis easy to instal and you find neutral much easier and it is smoother shifting.

I dont have the roll shifter but i have a prodesign and i am not really sure if i like it yet or not. Have any of u guys noticed that the distance u have to move the shifter is significantly more than with the stock setup. Ive noticed im missing up shifts alot with the new shifter. Is anybody else having this problem and how did u fix it if u did.

Do the rolldesign shifters get rid of the linkage?

The Roll Design does eliminate the linkage, I have one and it's alot nicer than the OEM or aluminum aftermarket shifters. The throw is a bit longer but definitely more positive. The RD is probably the most expensive of the aftermarket shifters though. If you dont care about the look there are cheaper ones to go with but I dont regret the RD myself.

yes it does

removes the linkage and the mechanical advantage the linkage provides

you will have to throw the shifter a little further,,,but it is a much better feel when shifting (after you get used to it)

Would you say you miss gears less? I miss gears sometimes when racing just due to the slopy soft feal the stock one gives me, but i don't want to have a problem if it's not good for shifting fast
