I've finally have lowered my choices to the yfz or banshee. Which one should I get? I ride dunes open fields and tracks. I do not want a raptor because everyone else around here has got one.

I would go with the yfz. The only place you will have to worry about a banshee beating you is in the drags.

I would go with the banshee. I have yet to see a YFZ beat a banshee in anything, expecially hill shooting the banshee is untouchable. I saw a video where a YFZ, DS, RAPTOR, and a PRED all started on a line below a hill. The banshee started 75 feet behind them but by the time they all got to the top the banshee was way in front, it just kept pullin up the hill while the others slowed down.

thats a toss up man, the shee is gonna be fun in the dunes cause its got that lightswitch power you only get in a two stroke . Im a banshee fan so id say banshee, they arent gonna make em for that much longer might as well get one while they still are.

I would go with the YFZ.

The Shee is not just yesterday's technology. . . it's last century's technology True, they are fast with very little modification but, I think the YFZ is nipping at it's heels.

Ont the track the YFZ will kill the Shee even after the mods!

Overall in the dunes you will like the YFZ better. The only place you'll want the Shee is for the hill shooting drags. Ask yourself how often you will be doing that?

If you are going to ride dunes and open fields more than the mx track, i would go with a banshee. I think you will like the banshee in the dunes and fields more than you would a yfz. my $.02

BTW, "last centuries technology"? What more could you ask for a liquid cooled 2stroke? I dont see anything old about it.

Well to start offf the banshee makes any trip fun cuz the powerband and its spinning tires. If your going to be a serious mxer then get a yfz but for wide open and dunes and even trails the banshee is fast and super fun

i would go with the banshee
1. there prolly going to stop making them in a couple years
2. better than the yfz in dunes and drags
3. its just funner
4. 2 stroke...

so if your not going to do much mx get the sheee
