You might want to start out on a Warrior, find one thats piped and jetted. It will keep up with
most stock 400's

a beginner 13 year old doesn't need anything more than a warrior..itll easily take a lakota, and itll be a lot cheaper.

..lol...good one...nothing wrong with the z400 at all...great all around quad and has great reviews...raptors are sick as well...id say if your not really use to the whole thing with fast quads and stuff and still want to show your bro up... than start out on a warrior/or raptor350...also great quads and like they said pretty good power...then when you get use to the power and am bored sell it and get a 400 or 660..haha...you enjoy them alot...nothing wrong with the lakota...great quad for trail riding mudding...check mine out...do you think it will smoke your brothers???

 

bad things bout a z/kfx? wow wrong ppl ur talkin too. The only bad things are the frames cracking on the 03's but for some reason i ride mine to hell and jump like hell and it has not cracked yet.. guess im just lucky. Anyways, u can find a good z for under 5000.. got my kfx for 3500. Ull really like it man.. its a big step up from the 350's and below.
Waitin for a 450r is a good choise also.. but if u ride trails ull miss reverse.. but ive never heard anything bad bout em. then again its a honda so it is hard to hear anything bad bout em.. lol. mod ur ride out and it can give rappys (notice u haters how i did not say CRAPTORS) a run for their money..

***O yeah.. heres a tip. Dont just look for Suzuki z400. The KFX 400 and the Arctic Cat 400 and the Suzuki z400 are all the same but different plastics up to now. So, make sure u look at all 3 models/brands to see what is cheaper. A lot of options to choose from and save money on..***
