i know this kid with a pred. his parents bought him it and hes a really crappy rider, he never crashed it but he rides it 2nd or 3rd gear all the time, he doesnt reide fast, i think if you know what your doing then you should be fine with a raptor

 

If he is a mature i think he could handle a raptor. Iam 13 (14 may)and can handle my friend and cosins raptor easy. But iam just a farmboy so idk

raptorboy I believe you said you are 15 yrs old ? If so you are a good example for this cuz you dont sound mature enough to ride a skateboard. Why would you let a 10 year old who cant even reach pedals (rear brake and shifter) ride a raptor? That falls under lack of common sense.

There is a post here in this thread that should be read VERY carefully.

This is proof that regardless of how your 13, 14, or 15 year old kid rides....who says that his judgment of others is on par with an adults??

I think you need a 240 kit. A 240 blaster will put a stock raptor to shame.

As long as he knows how to ride, He should be able to handle it no problem...


My friend who is 13 rides his raptor better than some adults I know....go figure..

my advice to the13 y/o kid, take it slow, don't think that its so big that u can do anything and everything in site....

btw, I'm 13, and I know I can handle a Raptor.

 

Oh about the question, there are probably some 13 year olds who are mature enough for a Raptor, but then again, there's some 30 year olds who are not.

 

Me and a friend of mine put every older rider wre know to shame. The funny part is we dont even have performance atv's haha they let us ride theres and show them up on there own machines. Its great. As for the mature thing Im really immature but now when it comes to riding, wear all safey gear and dont do anything your not ready for. But then once i get off the atv i think it is funny when people fart or something stupid like that haha, oh well its my personality if you dont like it to bad. I like my attitide haha
