compression of a grizzly

Default compression of a grizzly

My local dealer told me tha t grizzlys come stock with 10:1 compression and a weisco piston. Is this true or are they full of BS

Tell your local dealer to do a little homework. The Yamaha website ays it's 9.1:1 and I also doubt that Yamaha purchases pistons from wiseco they probably biuld there own. If yor dealer wants some accurate tech. info tell him to go to www.yamaha-motor.com then he will be as informed as his customers. I get real annoyed with dealers who don't know there product it makes yamaha look bad. What part of Alberta are you from?

From Lloydminster 2 hours east of edmonton. Where can a guy go for a ride in the RMH area? Someplace with lot's of mud and muskeg

Chambers Creek about 20min west of RMH is full of mud an muskeg. Tay River West of Caroline has lots of skeg. Baseline area is good also. Anywhere West of Caroline is good ride, just find a cutline and go.
